Miami of Ohio @ Western Michigan(-2.5)

As a ACTION aficionado, it would simply be improper if I did not include the greatest, highest integrity conference in all the land in the conference championship Saturday blog. Western Michigan and Miami of Ohio are both strong teams, but I look to the common opponent du jour, Toledo. Toledo under Jason Candle is typically the most talented team year in year out in the MAC, as they consistently get defenders into the NFL. Miami of Ohio got smushed, losing 34-3 at home. Western Michigan also played host to the Rockets and managed to beat them 14-13.
I also like Western Michigan in the rematch. It's hard to beat the same team twice and the neutral field should be a heavy equalizer. All in all, the Broncos have the better resume and should take the MAC title today.
Brigham Young @ Texas Tech(-12.5)

I have nothing against the Cougars. In fact, I think that they should have been in the playoff last year, and this year, regardless of the outcome of today's game. I just personally think that Texas Tech is one of the few teams that can beat Ohio State. BYU's defense held the Red Raiders down in the Red Zone a month ago, but they still lost 29-7 despite the spirited effort. All that needs to happen is for there to be a lapse in coverage or the run fit isn't tight enough and all of a sudden, the score looks more like 38-7.
The Red Raiders had a single blip against Arizona State, who were still a good team, and crushed every other team they faced. No reason to think that they can't do it again, especially if their Red Zone offense is improved.
Indiana @ Ohio State(-4.0)

Similarly to BYU, I have nothing against Indiana, Ohio State has been playing the season on cruise control and they have another gear. Indiana is an awesome team but I don't think they can score as much they'll need to against the Caleb Downs and Arvell Reese are the two best players in the country and as good as Fernando Mendoza has been, Matt Patricia will probably have his head spinning. No need to overthink it, Buckeyes to cover.
Duke @ Virginia(-4.5)

The ACC is hilarious. I love how dumb this conference is and how tiebreakers prevented Miami from getting to the title game against Virginia. Instead we have a thoroughly mediocre Duke team that gives up 414 yards of offense per game that has to face a Cavaliers team that accrues 433 yards per game. The Hoos are much better than the Blue Devils, and I'll be shocked if they don't cover.
