The Mustangs are not quite as good as their record suggests. The 3 losses are Baylor, TCU, and Wake Forest. The wins are East Texas A&M, Missouri State, Syracuse, Stanford, and Clemson. Not exactly a great cv for a quality team. Miami bounced back from their Friday Night Meltdown against Louisville by drubbing Stanford 42-7. I think that the Hurricanes end up smushing SMU in a game where the class difference shows.

I am nor falling for K-State beating up on Kansas in a rivalry game as them being back to form. Texas Tech had a blip against a good ASU team in ASU and I think that they will continue to look different against the rest of the Big 12. Love the Red Raiders here.

Georgia Tech(-5.5) @ NC State

The Yellow Jackets are much better on the whole than the Wolfpack. NC State looks to be a year away from being a year away as their early season wins against Virginia and Wake Forest are ringing hollower as they rack up loss after loss against teams like Duke, Virginia Tech, and Pitt.

On the other side of things. The Yellow Jackets look like they're getting stronger as the season goes on. They suffered a scare at Wake Forest, only winning by 1, and have since ripped off 3 straight covers, one of which was a road dog win at Duke. Everything is pointing to the Yellow Jackets here.

USC(4.5) @ Nebraska

The Trojans are better than the Huskers. I will take a team that has two Illinois and Notre Dame over a team that has two losses to Michigan and Minnesota. The Minnesota loss in particular was egregious, scoring only 6 points.
