The Red Hawks are in a three way tie for the MAC title. They have 5 wins in the conference with their only loss being to one of the other first place teams, Toledo. Northern Illinois, despite having the best win of any team in the MAC, have struggled mightily in conference play. Losing to Toledo is one thing. Losing to Buffalo at home as a 13 point favorite and losing to Ball State as a 14 point home favorite is ridiculous. I think the Salukis are a solid MAC team, but are being over valued in the markets thanks to that win over Notre Dame. It shows in their struggles against the MAC powerhouses, which is why the best bet is on Miami of Ohio.
