Back on November 15th, The Oklahoma Sooners were outgained, more penalized and seemingly thoroughly outplayed by Alabama yet they won 23-21. This was a curious outcome, as they forced 3 turnovers. Since that game, Alabama has seemingly been broken by them.

Alabama beat an FCS school, but they needed SEC officiating to move them down the field against an Auburn Team that held the Tide to a measly 205 yards of offense.

The next week Georgia embarrassed them to the point where everybody watching had more rushing yards than Alabama did.

What has changed? The combination of Kalen DeBoer, Ryan Grubb, Ty Simpson, and the Crimson Tide offensive line cannot handle the blitz in any meaningful way. They quite literally have no answer for any kind of blitz.

What's worse for them than being unable to handle the blitz is that Oklahoma getting two weeks off for John Mateer to get as healthy as he's been since the start of the season. It also gives Brett Venables time to cook up a gameplan against a one dimensional offense that looks broken. Oklahoma should prove that Alabama never belonged in a rematch that plays out nearly identically to the first. Sooners are the best bet.
