As much as the 49ers might try to play spoiler, the Lions are the best road team in the NFL. 7-0 on the road and 6-1 ATS on the road. 10-5 ATS on the whole. 13-2 straight up. Even with how injured they are on defense they still have some good players that can force enough stops to let the offense build a sizable lead. The offense that's 3rd ranked by DVOA in the NFL with the 2nd ranked rushing attack and 7th ranked passing attack.
San Fran does have the 10th ranked defense by DVOA thanks to their 4th ranked pass defense. They have the 24th ranked rush defense. Even without knuckles they're liable to get gashed by Sonic, so play-action will be on the table where Goff has been a monster. MC/DC and the Motor City Kitties for the best bet.
