Best Bets 10/6/2023

Oklahoma @ Texas OVER 60.5

Syracuse @ North Carolina OVER 60.0

Alabama(-2.5) @ Texas A&M

NCAAF Best Bet Season Record: 8-1

Oh Yeah!!!
Alabama Athletics

Trying out a multiple best bet format for NCAAF going forward. Just as a reminder these are not parlayed, I take these each straight up.

Oklahoma @ Texas OVER 60.5

DK -110

FD -110

To be honest, this is a big time fun pick. This is for the times I was able to catch the Red River Shootout/Rivalry in my lifetime and seeing all of those bananas Big 12 Classics.

Going to be relying on Texas to carry some of the water for this one, since they are stocked with NFL talent across the board on offense. Quin Ewers has cemented himself as potential top 10 pick in the upcoming NFL draft and he has likely top 50 picks Xavier Worthy, Adonai Mitchell, and Ja'Tavion Sanders to toss the ball too.

While Oklahoma isn't amazing on the outside, they've got NFL offensive linemen Tyler Guyton and Andrew Ryan. It's a solid bunch up front and having a good O-LIne is often enough to score some points. Let's have ourselves an over.

Syracuse @ UNC OVER 60.0

DK -110

FD -105

Drake Maye is awesome. Tez Walker had his eligibility re-instated. Mack Brown has exclusively had electric offenses since becoming the coach for UNC. They're great for overs since the offense is so good but their defense is so bad. Syracuse will score between 20-30 and UNC will likely put up at least 30 points since they've yet to go below 31 in a game this season. Dino Babers Syracuse teams have always been feisty. Let's have some points.

Alabama @ Texas A&M

DK -110

FD -120

Even a down Alabama team is still an absurdly talented college football team. Texas A&M currently only has 1 projected top 100 pick, DL Mckinnley Jackson. They got thrashed by Miami and have only beaten teams that just aren't very good.

Bama is trotting out their usual loaded team, it's just lacking on the offensive side of the ball at the moment. I don't expect Texas A&M to function on offense. Kool-Aid McKinstry, Terrion Arnold, and Malichi Moore are operating a no fly zone, while Dallas Turner, and Chris Braswell are operating as monstrous EDGE players that can moonlight as an off ball linebacker. Realistically all Jalen Milroe has to do is hit Ja'Corey Brooks and CJ Dippre for a couple of big plays as he hands it off to Jase McClellan the majority of the time to the tune of 4.9 Yards per Carry.

On the whole, let's have a fun Saturday
