Another weekend of best bets on good teams, let's roll.

Seattle Mariners(-1.5) @ Kansas City Royals

Luis Castillo has settled in to the 2024 season. Over his past 5 starts he's averaging 6 IP with a 1.60 ERA, which has included facing the Yankees and Orioles. As fun as KC is, they don't have the sheer top of the lineup power of the Yankees or the 1-9 depth of the Orioles.

Alec Marsh is taking the bump and he's been okay. He's not great at going deep into games and isn't particularly great at anything. Under the hood is kind of suspect as well.

With the Mariners offense having a much better June so far, and in particular one Mr. Julio Rodriguez slashing .286/.400/.429 in 25 plate appearances over 6 games in the month has the M's starting to separate themselves from the rest of the AL West Pack. The offense is starting to go, and Luis Castillo is on the bump, that's a recipe for a win.

Baltimore Orioles(-1.5) @ Tampa Bay Rays

DK +124

FD +122

Last time Taj Bradley faced the Orioles in the Trop, he gave up 9 earned runs on 9 hits! I'm supposed to not bet the Orioles when they have positive odds???? In a game like this??? Come on now.

Cleveland Guardians(-1.5) @ Miami Marlins

DK +105

FD -104

Good team bad team!!! Love that! Go Guard Dawgs!!

Ben Lively has also been really good, 9 starts, 50.2 IP, 47 strikeouts, and a 2.84 ERA. The FIP is a little shaky at 397, but that just means he can't let Bryan de la Cruz, Josh Bell, or Jazz Chisholm get a hold of one. Miami is rolling with an opener and there's a chance the Guard Dawgs bloop them to death.
