LET'S WIN MORE THAN ONE BEST BET

Seattle Mariners(-1.5) @ Chicago White Sox

DK +164

FD +160

The White Sox are hapless. Even with Garret Crochet on the mound they cannot win, as they have lost 5 previous starts of his. Those losses have come due to the White Sox inability to generate offense, and they will likely have issues doing so against Bryce Miller.

Miller has a 1.03 WHIP and the last time he faced the South Side Sox he went 7 full innings, giving up 0 runs, 3 hits, 0 BB, while striking out 5. Miller has also received run support occasionally. If the Mariners can give him 4 runs, they should be able to cover.

Chicago Cubs @ Kansas City Royals(-1.5)

FD +118

Javier Assad has not gone beyond the 5th inning in any of his past 5 starts, which has lead to only one cover in those past 5 starts, and 4 losses straight up. Meanwhile Cole Ragans has only one start in his past 5 where he did not go at least 6 full. Ragans has only faced the Cubs once in his career, and that was last season where he went 6 full ,giving up 3 runs on 8 hits, walking 2 and punching out 9.

The Cubs' inability to produce offense against great pitchers is an issue. While they did get to Seth Lugo, they have not proven an ability to consistently do damage. Also, it's not Imanaga taking the mound for them today.

Oakland A's(-1.5) @ Los Angeles Angels

DK +145

FD +146

Stop me if you've heard this before. An Angels' pitcher has a better ERA than FIP and has a propensity to give up home runs, this time at a 12.5% of every flyball being a home run, and the team they're facing, the Oakland A's, still has hit a ton of home runs and that's how they generate their offense.

Same deal, this time the A's are trotting out a lefty and the Angels are only slashing .250/.307/.402 against lefties. The A's have also turned the Angels into their own personal punching bags it seems, going 8-2 in their last 10 against the Halos. The A's are also 8-2 in their last 10 in general, taking the scalps of Philly and Houston in between thumping the Angels. 14-7 in July is nothing to sneeze at, and it seems they're going to be a thorn in the side of hover they play against for the next two months.
