If there's something I know about James Franklin, it's that he covers in September. Last year the Nittany Lions were a dissapointment but I think his Hokies will cruise and cover until they face teams with some backbone later in their schedule. ODU can be feisty, but I think VaTech has the stuff to cover and cover comfortably.

Michigan is actually God awful. They are terrible and were bailed out of one of the most embarassing losses in program history. The Wolverines don't have it whatsover on either side of the ball and the Sooners are going to get Bryce Underwood benched by halftime. He's terrible. Kyle Whittingham is an excellent coach who inherited a very flawed team and Underwood is a bust given his price tag. Venebles will have his head spinning while John Mateer matriculates the ball down the field. Sooners by a million.

This game rocks. I love that these teams are willing o play each other and keep stakes within the regular season. My main reason for taking Texas is two fold. Arch won't have his head spinning his first time seeing a high caliber defese and that Ohio State, depsite all of their talent on the whole, lost a ton of talent and experience to the NFL. Caleb Downs, Arvell Reese, and Sonny Styles are no longer patrolling the middle of the field and that will make life significanlty easier for their opponenets. I'm expecting a great game and a Longhorns win.
