WE START FEBRUARY WITH GOAL OF CRUSHING MARCH. LET'S WIN SOME BEST BETS

Syracuse @ Virginia(-12.5)

DK -108

FD -108

The Hoos have been a good team all season. Either the 2nd or 3rd best team in the ACC depending on your opinion of the Tar Heels. Syracuse has had a tough season. They have lost 6 of their last 10 and consistently give up 80+ points a game. I think that lack of defense combined with a lack of scoring will the Orange to another loss, and the Cavaliers to a cover.

Alabama @ Auburn(-3.5)

DK -108

FD -104

The Tigers have been big game hunters. They lost to Tennessee but the have scalped Arkansas and Florida in SEC play and that is no small feat. Stephen Pearl has them playing well, especially at home so I think they can take advantage of an underwhelming Alabama team. Nate Oats does not have his team playing well at all, and I think that we see a big win from the Tigers that pushes them towards making the tournament.

Duke @ UNC OVER 152.5

DK -110

FD -110

The greatest rivalry in all of college basketball tips off tonight. Both teams are poised to make noise in March as they are driven by outstanding freshmen. As much as I love Duke's defense and how they seemingly can tighten the screws on anybody, the Tar Heels fly up and down the floor and Caleb Wilson to this point in the season has been proven unstoppable.

We also have a porous Carolina defense, as they are much more focused pm running a team out of the gym than tightening the screws, which will give the Boozer brothers, and Isaiah Evans plenty of opportunities to score at will. I think we see a game played in the 80's from both sides.

Houston @ BYU OVER 149.5

DK -110

FD -110

While not having the historical backdrop of the matchup above, I think that Houston @ BYU will play out similarly to Duke @ UNC. On one side you have a team that loves to tighten the screws but has more than enough ability to run up and down the floor against a team led by a dynamic freshmen that wants to run you to of the gym. BYU has given up at least 86 points in 3 straight games and Houston is a team that is more than capable of obliging to a fast paced game. Given that it is in Provo the Cougars will look to gas out a sea level team, and I think that the Cougs will match them stride for stride, giving us an instant classic played in the 80's.
