NCAAF Best Bet Season Record: 38-38
One of the best Saturday's of the year. Let's win some best bets.
Iowa State @ Arizona State(-1.0)
DK -110
FD -105
Iowa State controlled their destiny and they lost back to back games to down TTU and Kansas programs. The Sun Devils are on a heater and have some impressive wins @ Kansas State and hosting BYU. I think their offense is just too dynamic on the ground for the Cyclones to completely clamp, especially that when they do thro, ASU ranks 17th in the nation at yards per completion at 13.8. Sun Devils all day.
Georgia @ Texas(-2.5)
DK -108
FD -120
The Bulldogs have played some bad ball of late. Their inability to play defense is shocking and the offense is just to sputtery for me to take them against quality opponents. Meanwhile Texas has been doing exactly what they've needed to and they've been absolutely smothering teams having not allowed 20 points since their win at a shockingly dominant at home Commodores squad. I know that the Dawgs got after them in Mid-October, but as of late, Georgia looks like a shell of themselves while Texas has been playing good complementary football and managed to play a bit of possum with their defensive gameplan. They looked exotic against T&M and I expect them to throw the kitchen sink at Georgia. Give me the Longhorns.
Penn State @ Oregon UNDER 50.5
DK -110
FD -106
This game will not hit 50 points. There is just too damn much defensive talent across the baord for both teams. It's going to be an awesome slugfest and I can't wait for it. Sickos only.
Clemson @ SMU(-2.5)
DK -115
FD -112
The Mustangs have a complete offense. They rank 21st in yards per game, ranking 48th is rush yards per game and 31st in pass yards per game. They're malleable and can execute all sorts of game plans. Even better for SMU is that they're great against the run of defense. They allow an incredibly stout 95.8 rush yards per game(4th) and 2.8 yards per rush(3rd). I feel very comfortable putting money the Mustangs when you need the arm of Cade Klubnik to carry you to victory against them.
Ohio @ Miami(Ohio)(-2.5)
DK -112
FD -120
The Redhawks are a stronger team than the Bobcats. The ability to hold down Harold Fannin Jr. is no small feat and that's exactly what Miami did. Ohio ran through their MAC shcedule asidfe from beatign Miami of Ohio, and that's why I'm going with the Redhawks. So far their the only team to have held them down and I expect that to happen again today. MACTION forever.
