Game of the Day 10/2/2026
Pittsburgh @ Virginia Tech(-4.5)

CFB Game of The Day 2026 Season Record: 15-14-0
I think James Franklin has himself a solid team in the ACC. After two blowout wins against their cupcakes they go up to play Maryland and Boston College and pick up road wins. Really solid start to his Hokie tenure. The issue for Pitt is that their 4-0 is made of weaker stuff. Beating the breaks off Miami of Ohio and Bucknell isn't very impressive when you stack it with a 12-7 win hosting UCF and 27-13 over Syracuse, all at home. So now they travel to Blacksburg for their first road game of the season and I think that we see them getting slapped around by a Virginia Tech that is Penn State Mid Atlantic. The Hokies are a very fun game of the day.
