As much as I think the Pirates can string series together and be good enough to do damage in October, I don't think they'll be able to damage to the Braves in the regular season at this point in time. Maybe Bubba Chandler is able to find some command and length in his starts after the down the line, but I don't think it's going to be against the best lineup in all of MLB.

The White Sox an Phillies have the same exact record this season at 34-30. The Phillies have completely turned their season around after firing Rob Thompson and installing Don Mattingly. They have done it off the back of great starting pitching but unfortunately they have Aaron Nola on the mound who has had a bad 2026. The White Sox, even without Murakami, have the lineup to punish a pitcher like Nola.

I think the Friars just had a really bad east coast swing against the Phils and Nats. I think that the Mets aren't a good enough team to take a series against a high caliber team like the Padres in their park. This is especially the case since the Mets are using a full bullpen day.
