Much like yesterday, we have two great pitchers in Grant Holmes and Cam Schlittler toeing the rubber for the Braves and Yankees respectively. We also have one more full run to play with and I think that a 4-3 or 5-3 game is the most likely outcome given the lack of offense from these two teams recently.

I have no idea what happened to Grayson Rodriguez. He went from a bona-fide top pitching prospect to playing out the string on the Angels. I think he needs to be rehabilitated by the Brewers or Rays. In the meantime, the Fish are looking to keep fighting towards the wildcard and picking up a series win against the Angels is the way to do it.

Justin Wrobleski is running out of steam. He's been particularly bad his last 2 starts where he's given up 8 total home runs. It's not going to help that he's pitching in Arizona tonight since the Park Factor is 104, good for 2nd highest in all of MLB. E-Rod has been outstanding in 2026. He's also been outstanding against the Dodgers in 2026 where he's tossed 17.0 IP of 3 run ball with only 4 walks, 16 hits, and 13 SO. He's been really, really good and I think that continues against a Dodgers lineup that is really struggling since they've lost their length. Mookie Betts and Kyle Tucker have been very bad and without Will Smith due to injury, the Dodgers need Ohtani, Pages, and Freeman to have monster games for them to be competitive. Meanwhile the Snakes have been very good this past calendar month. They are slashing .261/.340/.429 as a team in those 26 games and that should be enough to get to a struggling Dodgers squad.
