Kansas State is still 7-3 in their last 10 ATS, including 4-2 this season. TCU has had no such luck. 3-4 ATS, with the 3 being all non conference, including a thumping of Nicholls, who is a 1AA school. TCU is just nowhere near as good as they were last year, which makes sense. They lost Max Duggan, Quinten Johnston, Steve Avila, and Kendre Miller to the NFL draft and unless you're Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, or Penn State, you just don't reload talent year over year to continue contending.
I love Kansas State because they know who they are. Bill Snyder built the program off of JUCO transfers and ball control and the philosophy has stuck. They're also just a much better overall team that are coming off a more impressive in beating Texas Tech on the road by 3 scores.
