Priors have to matter. The Eagles need to win by a whole lot to help assuage their fans and prove to themselves that they are contenders. The Titans looked dreadful against the Jets and the Eagles should be better than the Jets.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots(-5.5)

This is priors on top of caliber of opponent faced. The Steelers really struggled with hosting the Falcons with a 3rd string QB while the Patriots struggled to move the ball against the defending champs. Should be much better this week. I like the Patriots to take care of business.

Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears OVER 47.5

The Bears are an automatic OVER bet. They just are until they prove me wrong. Even if the QB is Carson Wentz.

Carolina Panthers(-2.5) @ Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons might go to a 4th string QB. I also think the Panthers defense is not as bad as they presented in week 1 but the offense might be very good no matter what. I think that the Panthers will cruise.

Green Bay Packers(-2.5) @ New York Jets

The Packers need to beat the Jets. They just do. They need to beat them badly at that. There isn't much analysis to be had.

New Orleans Saints(+8.5) @ Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens just lost too many offensive players in week 1 for me to take them to cover this number. No Zay Flowers and no Ja'Kobi Lane have to matter and so does the sheer amount of yards the Saints put up against the Lions. I think the Ravens will win but I think it will be tight.

Cincinnati Bengals(ML) @ Houston Texans

I will not touch the Texans if they do not have Nico Collins on the field. He is the engine to their offense. Give me the Bengals to win straight up in this one.

I hate the Broncos. Missing 30 tackles as an NFL team is pathetic. Playing in Denver is hard so I'm thinking points will be few and far between, but God I hate the Broncos.

Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals UNDER 40.5

Drew Lock vs Jacoby Brissett does not scream confidence. I think that Seattle locks down the Cardinals offense while the Seahawks ball control their way to a win.

The Commanders' offense looked awful and their special teams did too. The Cowboys bare minimum looked like an NFL team working out some things against the Giants. I like them for this game today.
