I love the A's this year. They currently lack the pitching depth to be a real threat in the American League, and frankly be better than a feisty sub .500 team, but JP Sears is a good starter and they have dudes up and down their lineup. Jacob Wilson is an absolute stud at short and he's joined by 5 more bats with at least 113 wRC+ and Lawrence Butler is at 97. I love them as the best bet against a moribund Angels team, who I don't think are just going to be the team that swept the Dodgers the rest of the season. One good series doesn't make a team not 24th in offense and 28th in pitching fWAR.
