San Francisco Giants(-1.5) @ Washington Nationals

DK +160

FD +160

MLB Best Bet Season Record: 35-35

The Washington Nationals are looking like an organization that will never make the leap. They're currently 23-27 and somehow have a -46 run differential. Mackenzie Gore is a pretty good pitcher with good baseball savant numbers, but it has yet to really translate to material results. You can chalk it up to luck with his FIP being 2.95 while posting a 3.67 ERA, but what that means is that he's giving up doubles instead of home runs.

The Bats aren't much better. James Wood and CJ Abrams have lived up to the hype. .291/.389/.545 and .311/.372/.561 slash lines speak for themselves. What doesn't speak for itself is that the rest of the team is only adding 0.9 fWAR to James Wood and CJ Abrams' combined 3.8 fWAR.

Basically, outside of 3 players the team is incredibly bad. They lose by a lot when they lose and they only scrape by when they win. Against an all-around great team like the San Francisco Giants they need those 3 to carry the load, and I don't think they'll be able to. G-Men for the best bet tonight.
