Adolis García has been oneone of my favorite players to watch turn into an All-Star. The defense in right field is great, the power is electric, and the speed and just overall good baserunning is a throwback to before the three true outcome, juiced ball era. He was always a "if he could cut down the strikeouts" type of player and this season he has a career low K% at 25.6% and a career high BB% at 10.0%. This had lead to a career best slash line of .264/.342/.527. He's 14th in all of MLB in OPS at .869, good for 6th in the American League. All of this has amounted to what's already a career high 4.2 fWAR with 51 games to go. If you're wondering if under the hood looks good, of course it does.
The reason for circling this game as a best bet is because against the A's is straightforward. He's slashing .324/.368./.794 against Oakland this season. All he needs to do is get a hold of one and Adolis is going to clear 1.5 total bases.
