Gavin Williams is building a solid resume for a dark horse Cy Young Candidate. He has the single best performance of any starter this year when he went 7 full with no runs surrendered while striking out 10 against the Dodgers. Since that start he's continued his high level of performance and there's no reason that shouldn't continue, even against a solid lineup like Baltimore's. The Orioles are looking to contend again but Dean Kremer tends to not have the length against non-division opponents to keep the Orioles in games. All in all, I like the Guard-Dawgs odds to cover the run line, especially at a near 2-1 number.

Drew Rasmussen against Skenes should be electric, but then the Rays will go to the bullpen and the Pirates will score late to cover. The Rays have a weak bullpen and that weakness will give the Pirates an opening to cover.

The Padres are red hot and I expect them to take the series, even if they lost game 1 to Jose Soriano(choosing my own adventure as I'm writing this as the game is happening). Yusei Kikuchi has not been good at all in 2026 and all the Padres have to do is get to the bullpen with a 2 run lead for there to be a cover.
