BEST BETS ARE BACK IN THE DIAMOND

Houston Astros @ Boston Red Sox(-1.5)

DK +129

FD +128

Both these teams are awful. Truly, they are both terrible in fun and unique ways. The Astros have 14 players on the IL. The Red Sox have 6 starting pitchers on the IL, including 3 of their 4 right handed starters so teams can just load up to mash lefties. The Red Sox bare minimum have Ranger Suarez pitching today and he has been excellent over his last 5 starts. He's tossed 30 innings to the tune of a 2.35 ERA and that should be enough to win against such an injured team.

Los Angeles Dodgers(-1.5) @ St. Louis Cardinals

DK +104

FD +106

The Dodgers aren't going to get swept. The Cardinals have absolutely asserted themselves as a player in the National League by taking this series but they aren't going to cover against Justin Wrobleski who has given up 2 runs in 26.0 IP. He's a stud that can keep a good Cardinals offense pinned down.

Atlanta Braves(-1.5) @ Colorado Rockies

DK -108

FD -111

Strider's back. The Rockies may just be regular bad in 2026 but the Braves have been the best team in the MLB and one of the best hurlers in the MLB is returning to bolster them. Braves by a dillion.

Kansas City Royals @ Seattle Mariners(ML)

DK -118

FD -122

This is a make or break start for Luis Castillo. If he can't look the part against one of the worst offenses in the MLB, it might be time for him to be back of the rotation only. He's been so consistent over the past few years that I frankly don't want to see a fall off like this.

Chicago White Sox @ San Diego Padres(-1.5)

DK +114

FD +114

Much like the Dodgers, the Padres aren't getting swept. They are too good across the board for that to happen. The White Sox might also have graduated into beating teams they should and having the capability to steal series from good teams. They can really hit and have some in the rotation.

That being said, the odds are against them today, go Friars.
