Just like yesterday, any time you see positive odds against the Marlins, you take it. Paul Blackburn has a propensity to give up runs but that is primarily to the long ball. I think that Paul Blackburn will acquit himself well and the Mets offense will continue to thrive.
Kansas City Royals(-1.5) @ Cincinnati Reds

For whatever reason, the Reds struggle to produce offense with Andrew Abbot on the mound, they are 1-4 straight up and 1-4 ATS. Part of the issue is that he does give up the long ball, 6 in his last 5 starts, and that does not play well at the small park. Brady Singer is due for a bounce back start and his high ground ball rate, 47.9%, will play at the small park. Even though the Reds themselves only have a 41.7% GB rate, I think Singer's stuff will put them above that solid rate. Also the Royal bats have been mashing since the break and that will continue today.
Minnesota Twins(-1.5) @ Texas Rangers

The Twins have dominated the Rangers recently and I think that dominance continues into today. They're playing great ball where pitching and hitting have synced up, while the Rangers are floundering out of playoff contention.
