This best bet issa bibe-e. Tanner Bibee has been awesome for the Guardians in his rookie campaign. For a team that's' missing Bieber fever and Sticks Mackenzie, you'd think they'd be wallowing in the basement. Cleveland has had the benefit of stellar rookie performances. Bibee has tossed 108.2 innings of 2.90 ERA/3.61 FIP/1.21 WHIP ball this season. The secret to the success is the slider is nasty. He throws it 27.7% of the time and induces a .209 BA and .382 SLG. He throws it at about 85 MPH so it's very complimentary with his 95 MPH heater. To be very clear though, the 1 and 2 are just set up for a vicious changeup. The Change averages a full 11 MPH of the fastball and and induces a 40.7% whiff rate. It's actually been very unlucky as well in terms of BA vs xBA, same with the SLG. An induced .254 BA and .284 SLG is fine, but the xBA and xSLG are .173 and .212 respectively. The pitch is nasty.

Under the hood is great too, especially for a rookie.

There are two reasons as to why the odds are so long on this best bet. The Detroit Tigers are 23-15 within the AL Central. The Tigers also touched up Bibee in his second ever start. Bibee has become dominant since that start and the Tigers are incredibly inconsistent.
