As the first Game of The Day back from the All-Star break, I'm looking to wager against bad teams. The Giants are a really bad team. They've been playing bad ball all year and there isn't a reason to wager on them whatsoever. They can't hit, pitch, or field.
The Mariners are the single most frustrating team in all of MLB. They win when they have no business winning and manage to lose when they have no business losing. However, Bryce Miller has been very solid in his 10 starts in 2026. He has worked 57.2 IP to the tune of a 2.18 ERA and a blood red baseball savant page.
He should keep the Giants down and the Mariners should be able to tee off on Landen Roupp. Like the Mariners for the game of the day.
